Lawn Chair veröffentlichten zwei EPs in Zusammenarbeit mit den Produzenten Olaf Opal (The Notwist, International Music) und Chris Coady (Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs), spielten ihre eigene UK Tour, Toursupport für Sleaford Mods und Festivals von Immergut bis Fusion. Im Herbst 2025 erscheint nun das lange erwartete Debütalbum: YOU WANT IT! YOU GOT IT! verhandelt das Leben im Spätkapitalismus, gefangen zwischen Handysucht und toxischer Männlichkeit, zwischen der Sehnsucht nach Erfolg und innerer Ruhe, immer begleitet von den unausweichlichen Prägungen der eigenen Herkunft. Das alles verpackt die Band um Sängerin und Frontfrau Claudia Schlutius in einen fesselnden Genremix aus Post-Punkigen Hallarien, kompromisslos trockenen Gitarrenriffs, poppigen Basslines und treibenden Synthesizern, von Produzent Olaf Opal stilsicher in Szene gesetzt. Inspiriert von stilprägenden Bands wie DEVO, Broadcast und Beck ist YOU WANT IT! YOU GOT IT! eine packende Auseinandersetzung mit den Widersprüchen des modernen Lebens.
